gScreen G400 Dual Screen Laptop


Meet the world’s first laptop computer with two displays, each measuring 15.4 inches in diagonal. It comes from gScreen Computer Corporation and is destined to professional video editors, web designers and users of the Adobe Suite.
Amateour designers can opt for secondary screens that connect via USB to their laptops, while gamers have the dual-screen laptop models such as the Fujitsu LifeBook N7010.






gScreen’s G400 dual-screen laptop features backlight displays that totalize 28 inches wide for the viewing area when the secondary unit is extended, and a full-sized keyboard.

It will be available for purchase later this year at a price that’s unknown yet, and will come equipped with the 2.8GHz Intel Core 2 Duo T9600 processor, optional Intel P8400 CPU clocked at 2.26GHz, Windows XP or Windows Vista operating system pre-installed, NVIDIA Quadro FX 2700M graphics card with 512MB dedicated memory, optional NVIDIA GeForce 9800M GT with 512MB dedicated memory, up to 8GB of RAM memory, up to 500GB 7200 rpm hard disk drive, and a 6-cell or 9-cell battery.

The system weighs 7.7 lbs minimum.

gScreen plans to release a 17-inch and a 13.3-inch laptop models later this year, as well as a rugged 15.4-inch dual-screen laptop for the US NAVY, called the Titan-M1.
